I'd be interested in the rally. I live in Harrison Township, MI (Metro Beach-Venetian Canal). Would prefer to have it on my side of the state, but I might be willing to trailer to Grand Haven, Holland area. I also have another buddy that lives down the same canal and I know a few guys that rack store that might be interested if it's on this side of the state. Lots of PQ's on Lake St Clair.......

Mandi and Mark have been working on something like this. It probably didn't happen this year due to poor business for ALL hi perf. boat mfgs.

Road trip
Kentz: Dave the dude and scott jones make it up there in just under five hours to Metro Beach. If they have it at holandMich. it took me just about 6.5 hours to the factory.(about 340 miles) . Both pulls are easy. All flat ground going up. I preferred metro beach because of the slips there that are aviable to rent. Lets everyone decide, I am open. Wildman1 aka Blondes preferred

Personally, I think it should be held here in Va Beach.
Actually it would be fun, get those boats off the lakes and rivers and see what "Offshore" really is about.

On the last weekend in June every year, the Great Lakes Silver Cup Series makes it stop at Metro Beach. If we can get atleat 1 row of finger docks reserved it would be a great chance for alot of out of state people that are coming the distance a chance to see alot of nice race boats. Last year they even held a poker run on Saturday which was open to anyone, then the main races are held on Sunday. For 2004 the dates will be June 25-26-27th. Just an idea !!!
I have enclosed a pix of my Avenger in one of the slips with a view of the finger docks in the background.

I have reviewed all the information and I agree completely. It is true Mark & I were working on it and just ran out of time this year. The location is also a concern. It will impossible to the slips needed anywhere around here in June, July or August. I like the Metro Beach idea, I was just there a few weekends ago for the show. It is a quick run out to the lake and there are tons of slips. A great park for the family. Large parking lot for trucks and trailers and the hotels are close. In the next couple weeks, I will try and contact them and see what weekends they have open and see how it coordinates with our schedule of factory events. I will continue to keep you all posted. Also if you have any ideas or suggestions for the event, feel free to email me at [email protected]
Thanks,
Mandi
