Stereo Upgrade
Can anyone recommend a sub-woofer?
I currently have a 6 speaker Sony with an Xploder power amp. It needs a sub pretty bad. Maybe even a speaker upgrade.
Another question, I am running 2 batteries now, should I install a battery just for the stereo?
Thanks,
Dave

Re: Stereo Upgrade
You need an entire stereo upgrade. When they said Exploder...they mean Exploder........mine went for about 15 hrs and exploded........then I put in a Rockford Fosgate and some Audiobahn speakers....all OK now...
Rumor has it, PQ will now be using stereo systems from UX Audio now.........or they should be shortly

Re: Stereo Upgrade
I have an infinity sub that has impressed others enough to sell what they have and by what I had.
But on that note, anyone have recommendations on where to put a 10" sub in a 29 enticer? In my previous boat I had it in the cuddy where the porta potti was supposed to be (told the wife the potti was broke and cost $600 to fix - luckily she never checked since you can get a new one for $50). Anyway, having it in the cuddy really made a single 10 thump and pulling the potti is not an option since its a pump out and that feature gave me the wifes blessing in the purchase.

Re: Stereo Upgrade
If you put the sub in the middle of the back seat area I think you will be ok (in the middle of the 2 speakers). There is enough room for you to mount it there as well. Let me know if you do this. I am going to do this next year to my 26 SLS.
