Prop Shaft Changes.
Im looking to buy a set or two of 15x30-15x32 cleaver props 3 or 4 blades to fit my 300x's. Im seeing alot of used stuff out there that has the small prop shaft. Can these be changed to fit the large shaft merc?
Why dont more have the flo-torque hubs to easily change?

Re: Prop Shaft Changes.
The new cleavers do have the flo-torque 2 hub system. The older cleavers with press in rubber hubs can be converted to the large prop shaft quite easily. When buying used cleavers, or any used props, look at the props closely. There are a lot of them out there that have been overworked, over-thinned, hacked-up, cracked, repaired, etc. There are also very good deals on some that have hardly been run at all.
What kind of boat are these props for? We do the prop work for most of the Super Stock Cat outboard race boats and are quite familiar with these outboard cats.

Re: Prop Shaft Changes.
Chris is correct, 30 AMT with 300x's.
Matt,
Throttle up actually cleaned the set of 15x32 3 blades that are on the boat last month. I delt with Julie. Ill give a call down to you guys this morning. I have a question about a 26p Bravo 1 you just did for me as well.

Tantrum,
Be careful when buying OB cleavers converted from Flo-Torq 1 to 2 hubs. Balancing issues can arise.
We offer a multitude of OB cleaver recipes and thicknesses to enhance any OB set up. We just finished two sets for a team racing SBI.
We also offer kilo version propellers.

Tantrum,
We are quite familiar with the AMT's. We do the prop work for all the AMT's running Super Stock. There are a few things that can done to the props depending on what you want to do with the props.
The cleavers are a great prop for top end. If you have other goals there are other props that may be better for your application. We have put everything from cleavers to P5X's on outboard cats with excellent results for each specific application.
We have converted quite a few of the cleavers to the large shaft. As long as the proper hub is used and the proper machining is done we have never had a balancing issue. If you use a Mercury hub there is a potential for vibration problems because the exterior of the hub is cast and not machined.
