Question Prop. selection for a Procharged 25 Outlaw ?

Hey everybody, I was going to post this in the Baja forum but, since you all are specialists.......I have a 2000 25 Outlaw with a Procharged (M3SC) and intercooled MCM 502 with the Procharger competition fuel system. I received the boat with a 23p Mirage+ which was woefully inefficient so my Baja dealer had me try a 27p Mirage+ but the bow would fly into the air and the rev limiter kept cutting in sooooooooo now I have a 28p Bravo I and am finally happy. I'm getting 71.8 GPS @ 4600 - 4800 rpm. The hole shot is tremendous, the mid-range pulls very strongly, and the top speed is ok, but should'nt a Procharged (3.5 lbs boost) boat go faster ? Are the 200 - 400 rpms I'm missing out on the answer ? The procharger site lists boats similiar to mine with 30p Bravo I's but that sounds a little high to me. Thanks in advance for your advice.

Your slip is 10.5%, that's good.

Lab Finishing the prop would give you the 300 rpm's you need and would give some extra speed. Probably 3-4 mph.

Remember, every identical boat is different.

The 27p Mirage+ could'nt get out of the hole without hitting the rev limiter. I'd have to gradually and slowly get up on plane and then hit it, after doing that I was topping out at around 71 GPS @ WOT @ 5000 rpm.

My 24 outlaw spun a 25 mirage at 5500 rpm and the boat went 79. My HP was only 575 so my guess is the boost is way down and your not making the power you think. Plus that rev limiter has to go! The boat was never in the water with the 3 blade. The 4 had much more control.

How do you get rid of the rev-limiter and, after doing so, what's a safe "redline."
