Default Prop LAbbing Question

Well here's the deal! I just bought a new Bravo 1 prop off ebay ! What a deal!!! It just came in today and when I opened it up I noted on the box that is states it's a labbed prop by Mercury Racing complete with all the ID# and everything. Here's my question. I'm running a 454 mag EFI 385hp in my 26 Powerquest Legend. I'm currenly spinning a Mirage plus 23p at 4800rpm and seeing 60mph. The label states it's still a 22p. Any thoughts on RPM I'll run with this??? I'm not to worried if it works or not due to the price I paid, I firgure I can't go wrong.

I would guess your going to get the same answer I'm going to give you...I have bought a number of props off e bay also, the only way of knowing what any prop will do is to just try it out on your boat. I wish there was another way of knowing but unfortunately there isn't any method thats more accurate, only guess-timations. I bought hydro's for mine and just bought mirages off e bay to try this weekend. Some members said the hydros were the best, some say the mirages, I will post my opinion after this weekend....then one set will be going back on e bay !

It is going to run a higher RPM than a stock 22P as it has been lab finished.

So whats your estimate on RPM's with the labbed Bravo 1??
I'm figuring 5000 rpm , based on the extra blade.

Hard to say without seeing the propeller, since you got it for a deal. I would say it should run about 4900 ish.

If your 23 Mirage was a true box stock and the 22 Bravo 1 has the original Mercury Racing Lab Finish, it will run about 250-300 rpm more than the 23 Mirage.

5050-5100 rpm.
