I had a 24 outlaw and like the bravo 4 blade better than the mirage for handeling. The mirage was alittle faster top end only otherwise the 4 blade all around better. I would go with a 24 bravo.

Have a 21 Mirage on it now. Great to plane. Planes in seconds. Top end is bad. Mid 50's
Own that prop,
a 21 Turbo modified to be more like a 22
a 23 Mirage Plus
a 25 Mirage.
What should I try next? What is the ideal RPM range for the 502 Magnum?

Gman,
You should run your motor at 5000 RPM at WOT. Post you performance numbers so we can run thru some calculations.

a bit of an update. Water was a bit rough today so I don't have good top end numbers. At 3800 RPM the speedo (Faria) was at 40MPH This is with the 23 Mirage Plus installed.
boat seemed to porpose a lot today. Usually doesn't. Could it be the prop?

When testing the conditions need to be appropriate. If the seas/water is to big then you will nedver be able to spool the props and trim appropriately. Additionally testing on glass isn't good either. You need to free the boat up.

Ok better water conditions but due to my two small children being on board wit hme I could not get top end numbers. Really had the trim and tabs dailed in, water was nice chop, boat ran 40MPH at 3100-3200 RPM . Seems like the speed is coming up and have plenty of room to rev.
