Finding the correct prop
Hi!
In Norway it has proved very difficult, if not impossible, to try props before buying. I am now searcing for alternative props for my new set up - twin 2.5 EFI (280 hp+ each) on a Phantom 25. Weight approx. 2.900 lbs / 1.300 kilos.
Estimated top speed will be 90 mph +. If I choose Bravo 1 props, what kind of pitch should I start at since they are lower in real pitch than stamped?
Our should I try out Hydromotive / Chopper style props / other brands.
Reccommended rpms is 7.000 - 7.250. Propheight even with the bottom / 1 inch below. Sportmaster lower units.
Enclosed some boating history - Offshore Phantom 25 with twins 1985 in London..
Looking forward to next years boating season!
