Thanks Julie. I'll give you a call in the morning. Mondays are always busy at the office.

Julie, Just wondering if you had a chance to look at the prop? Also wondering what the true pitch was?

Thanks Brian

Hello Brian,

Your propeller did arrive safe and sound. It is in the lab now, but Matt has not looked at it as of yet. I will try to get the diagnostics today, if possible. I will call you and we thank you for your business Brian!

Fast Forward,

I have a Mach sterndriver 22" 4 blade that has been used twice. It might be what you are looking for. It has round ear blades and is a small diameter prop that gives good bow lift.
It would also make a good spare prop if nothing else. I will take 100.00 for it.

Just for reference my friend has a 99 just like yours and I put a Whipple on it, and it runs 78 mph !!!

Also when you have your boat on the edge going for top speed, it will be loose and have some chine walk. It is just how those boats run when they are trimmed way out. My buddies is a handful at 75.

Julie, I wanted to drop you an e-mail with some results from your work on my prop late last fall. First off due to such a poor start to the summer our time on the water has been has been very minimul. Anyhow if you take a look above you'll see where we were at originally. Here's what I have now.

WOT 5,000 RPM at 59.3 on GPS (light fuel 4 adults)

One thing I've noted is it seems to spin up very fast out of the hole and you have to work it a bit to keep the bite. If you mash the throttle she'll come loose, but back off a bit and you'll feel it come right back.

As you can see we hit the magic number on the RPM's and did see a gain in speed but seems like I may have increased my splippage.

Whats your thoughts??
