finally got the boat in and i ran 56mph at 5000rpm and 42mph at 4000rpm with the 23" quicksilvers. should i be able to spin a 23" 4 blade?

Dependant on the diameter of your 23P 3B's you may loose some RPM with the addtional blade. But I would guess that the diameter of your 3B props is smaller than that of the Bravo I 4B. THe larger diameter of the 4B will also decrease the RPM as well.

what would be a better prop the B1 or the Q-IV. i have been told the Hydro works well with this hull. what is the differance in the two props?

The Bravo I is a bow lifting propeller and the Hydro QIV is a stern lifting propeller.

I run QIV'S...boat handles 100% better...she felt slippery with the 3 blades...

its at the top of the list Dave. probably wont get a set till i freshen up the power though. yea my boat also feels kinda vague with the 3 blades too. may try a few different props with the stock motors just for grins. got a friend that has a few sets on the shelf for testing
