What prop for 700hp 4200lbs Pantera 28.
I just bought a F1 Pantera 28 -99 from Lukiepal. Apparently he is not happy with the prop, it blows out at 3-4 on the trim indicator. It's a Bravo One originally 30P but is remarked to 29P custom made for F1.
Do you know what prop to start with? The Pantera is supposed to weigh 4200lbs (without all the led weights...), simple half cabin (between the two bulkheads in front of the cockpit, 509ci supercharger 700+hp @ 5600-5700rpm. Imco Xtreme Advantage 1.50:1, notched transom.
I believe it made 89mph on GPS a few years back when Jo at Pantera raced it.

If you could post your performance data we can take a look at the propellers efficiency. THe Panteras perform very well in Hydromotive Cleavers. After running the boat post your:
WOT RPM
WOT MPH via GPS
I am happy to help you in anyway that I can!

Fill It With Fuel Bring It To A Truck Scale And Get The Weight Then Subtract For Fuel And Trailer . I Think Fuel Is 7 Lbs Per Gallon And The Trailer Bring It Back Empty For The Weight. 4200lbs Sounds Lite For A Pantera.

Dending on the rpm you are turning, putting the prop back to 30 lab and making some minor adjustments will most likely help the trim issue.
