Default Thrust washer for Turbo prop

I picked up an older used Turbo prop in great shape. But I am concerned about the thrust washer. I called Turbo and they said to use the OEM thrust washer #13171(now #8354671) which is what I have.

But, the Turbo prop DOES NOT have a recess for the thrust washer to "drop into" like my Mirage prop does and this concerns me. This seems like it would add a lot of stability.

Here's a pic of the Turbo(top) and the Mirage(bottom) prop to compare.

I don't have the part number with me now. Call me at the shop and I'll give you the part number for the correct thrust washer. 920-295-4435

Brett, is it #8354671? Turbo told me that should work.

I guess I'd use what Turbo suggests but, that washer has a step.

I was going to tell you to use a 13191Q1

Brett, I have to admit Turbo didn't make me feel all warm and fuzzy about it. I would prefer using a non-step washer if possible but I can't find that 13191Q1 part number.

I'll call you later today if I get a chance.

Thanks
