I'm running the 26's on a big V without steps, which has a deep X since its a 1993 model.
Turning 5100rpms...would like to see 55-5600
How would the 27's stack up to that?

Probably not. Keep in mind , generally a 4 blades prop is equal to the next larger 3 blade as far as top end rpms. So a 26x4 and a 27x3 are almost equal
.
A 24" 4 blade or a 25" 3 blade should get you close. Some labbing will get you closer.

It's also my understanding the Bravo 1 props are stamped 1 size larger than what they really are, meaning a 26 is a 25. So, you would probably lose rpm going to a 27, not gain. I would guess a set of 25 Mirages(non-plus) would get you close and then you could always get them labbed for however many rpm you are short if needed.

A special recipe Lab on the current props will get you very close to your goal. What is your top speed?
The 27's are stiff.

I tried some new out of the box 24's and spun them to to my rev limit of 6000...My 26's must have had some work done to them....though the blades are still thick. Since I bought those used who knows what was done. I have the new 27's and will try them this Saturday.
Running 90mph with the 24's@6000 and the same speed with the 26'[email protected] figure.

Something must be majorly wrong with mine. I spin a 26 at 4900 RPM and only go 65mph.
