I am sure my X dimension is on teh high side now with out running the IMCO drive extension that I use to have on the boat. What prop should I run or should I use a spacer to lower the drive? My hdyro 4 blade just blows out and the boat will nor place out. I put on my 4 blade trophy outboard prop on the boat and it now planes out but take longer than it did before when I had the extension on the boat.

As discussed I would try a few other props prior to buying a spacer. Ultimately you may need to space the drive down but let's try some other 4 and 5 blades first.
