I have '97 non step top gun. With stock 502 mpi's I could turn my stock 24" bravos about 4900-5000 with a top speed of about 65-66. Now with modified engines I can turn the same 24's to about 5300-5400 with a top speed of about 70.
I would love a little more top end but I don't want to hurt my mid range. Currently, 3400 RPM's gives me 45 mph. I'm pretty sure that stock 26's would pull my WOT RPM's down too much...but I am considering labbed 26's. How much would my WOT RPM drop with these??? How would they affect my mid range?... Or maybe I should just leave my 24's on and be happy with 70 mph![Frown](/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)
I would love some feedback from those in the know.
Thanks-

Labbed 26's will run about 100 rpm less than the stock 24's. Your mid range cruise shouldn't be hampered at all since you are going up in pitch.
