Default Mirage + drive trimming

I recently purchased a new Mirage + 23p. My old prop was a Mirage standard.

Love the new prop and have seen about 3 mph gain and better control, holeshot, everything. Trimming the new prop is taking some getting used to, though. My old prop had this perfect and easy to find sweet spot. The new Mirage + seems harder to find that sweet spot. Moreover, drive trim was so important with the old prop, now it seems that trim doesn't effect the new prop as much...

Guess it will just take some getting used to.

you should need less positive trim with the M+ due to the extra cupping it has.

Yes. This is what I am finding. My old prop I had to be on the trim immediately, even during and through the hole shot. The new Mirage + doesn't seem need any of this.

btw, I gained HUGE mid-range hook-up value. Almost a different boat! With the old prop I had to positive trim to get speed, but then the bow got light and the boat was all over the place. Now, I can positive trim only slightly and still get speed, but the bow is planted and the boat feels so much more secure.

Love the new prop, but still learning it.

The M+ props have many possible adjustments if the trim switch is being too agressive.

Is the WOT rpm where it needs to be?

B Blades:

Yes, my RPMs are right where they need to be: 4450 - 4550.

7.4, carbed, bone stock, bravo 1

I think the 7.4 is supposed to turn between 4200 and 4600.
