Default Need to try a Hydromotive

It has been recommended to me to try a 29P P5 X Hydromotive (rounded ear) right hand rotation, big shaft, on my new set up. Does anyone have a test prop that I can try?

No, but we do have test Maximus propellers with the same hub system.

BRETT, I have a labbed 28 and just bangs the rev limiter at 5450. Tried a labbed bravo 30 and could only get 5200. What prop would you recomend on a single engine cat with 2 inch shortie.

Whats the difference between the Hydromotive and Maximus?

Is it a round ear?

Gary, is the 28 a Bravo 1? If so, we can turn it back 200 rpm and get you off teh limiter. Likewise the 30 can be depitched. Singles on Cats can be real touchy with X dimention and prop diameter.

Pantera, the P%X is a direct attempt at a copy of a 5 blade Bravo 1 propeller. The Maximus is a completely redesigned 5 blade prop with 15 5/8" diam. and more blade area. We started its development with a prop like the P5X and evolved it to what it is today. It has many options as far as Labbing is concerned. The P5X is definately a good propeller. The Max just has more options and seems to respond better to customizing.

Do your guys sell props for a TRS set up? I just changed engines and about ready to test props. First run on a 4 blade hydromotive 26p yielded that I need much bigger props. I will get numbers after next run next weekend. PM me so we don't hijack this guys thread, thanks.
