What are the best headers for the $, and where on earth can I get the ECU's reprogrammed? Whipple?
BTW how much did the Whipples cost anyway?
I figure I have about $10,000 to $12,000 to try to get to 80 MPH.

The Whipple superchargers will exceed $12.000.
Headers - Dana Marine - two pair $5.100.
Roller rockers - Lakesiderestorations - two set $600.
ECU reprogram - Whipple - both $1.800.
You will need new props. I recommend Throttle-Up, speak to Julie. The price depends on what you are looking for in terms of manufacturing precision and number of blades.
I estimate that you should be able to beef up your ride, including labor, at your target budget.

For now I guess I will skip the Whipples. Raylark kits are abouot the same.
Will try the roller rockers, headers and reprogramming, and see what I get. I will remove the exhust restrictors also. I seen some threads on that.
