They are similar in their bow carrying attributes. The tempest will sometimes be faster with light loads and the Mirage is less weight sensitive.

If you need more than 23 inches of pitch, you are forced to go to the M+. I would run the M+ customized in your application.

Try the Mirage + and let BBlades do their magic on them. I was running 25" Mirage + that had been labbed by some one else. I thought they were running pretty good. I've got a 34' deep V with staggered engines. I had been running about 11-12% slip at WOT.
Then I hit some rocks. Bret said to send them up to see if he could repair them. He did and they are better than ever. I have not had a chance to run wide open yet, but I hit 60 mph 250rpm sooner, with only 5% slip! I expect to have added a few mph on top end as well.

Nice job Brett.

I like the mirage + the only thing is that im only able to turn them to 5300 trimmed, my engines wot is 5750, i know i can get the wot going down a pitch, but i will loose my midrange. with the 23 i get 39-40 at about 4k rpms with the 25+ im able to be at 46 - 47 at about 4k rpms. so i dont want to loose that, and most probably my top end would be the same.

Talk to Brett. See how many rpms he thinks he can get you.
I have not got to WOT yet, (my wife was with me and 60 mph was fast enough for her). But at 4000rpm I am running 60mph. That's only 5% slip and 250 rpms better tthan before he repaired my props. 25" Mirage Pluses.

We should be able to get close to 300 rpm out of the propeller.

I would try rotating your propellers inward.
