Need Input...please
Here are the facts
1998 Top Gun Full cabin, half fuel, 650 HP supercharged mercs, bravo XR drives
tested 28 Pitch props ran 5000 rpm ( did not hit rev limiter)
changed to 30 labed props .. ran 5100 RPM ( did not hit rev limiter)
thought for sure I would decrease in RPM... but it did not.. what is the next step ???

That will be my next test this week, unfortunalty I did not have my GPS with me. The 30 Labbed props are actually props from you that were worked on. I will let you know my finding in a few days on the speed and RPM and then we can go from there

5100 rpm, labbed 30P props only 77 on GP, did not have time to change to the stock 28, but it was little harder to get on plane with the 30's and seemed to have alot more slip, ( just a observation from the noise and reaction of the boat)

Your slip is too high with those propellers. Depending on the recipe that was used to Lab them, they may be adjusted to get you down in the slip numbers.
However, the R's could drop below the desired numbers. The 28's will more than likely be the props to work with.

I will let you know what the numbers are with the 28's and then either send you the 28's to work on or modify the 30's depending on what you think of the 28 P numbers.. Thanks for your help
