Default prop for a larson senza 206

hey guys, so i've got a 2006 larson senza with a 5.0 efi volvo penta that makes 270 hp, it has a sx sterndrive. i've wanted to try stainless props but ive messed up a couple aluminum ones over the past couple years. i figure id rather have to buy a new aluminum prop then replace all the sterndrive inners. right now im running a 4 blade aluminum 17x14 that tops out around 5000 rpm. the other prop is a 3 blade 21x15 that will only do about 4500rpm. question is how can i get the 3 blade to do another 500 or so rpm cus to me that seems like it would be good for a couple mph's. top speed with the 3 blade is 54.8mph and the 4 blade is 51mph both on gps btw.

so my queestions are:
can they work a aluminum prop?
is ther a prop out there that will get me better performance?
any suggestions on something to try?

thanx,
josh

Reworking the 21x15 is a option but not the best one. Putting money into aluminum props (other than repair) can be a waste since they don't hold there geometry as well as SS and they damage easier. If we were to work that propeller, we would decrease the diameter slightly and adjust the pitch only .5".

To get the best top end speeds, we would suggest going to stainless steel in 15"-17" pitch range and customizing the prop from there.

We have test props if you are interested.

I think the reason your not getting many replies is because you want to stick with aluminum. Not many people on here run aluminum props. If you go stainless the cost of the prop,
(500.00 ish dollars) will make you more conscious of it and probably result in no more dings.
