620 HP in any year/model 24 baja should put it at close to 80 mph if there are no other issues. I'm guessing you have an older 240.
The prop is way deep on Bajas, especially older ones. With the ITS, you should have gone up an inch at least.
How high are the tabs mounted off the bottom????

Ever seen a 240 Baja ? Thaey have the freeboard of a Battleship and they are 12 ft wide with the drive in the basement . We all want to go fast , but I ask why do people throw hard erned money away on hulls that were desinged for family boating , not going 75-90

Sorry Cupcake !! Just hate to see guy's just throw money at something that was never intended to do what you want to do . I know a guy who could cut open bottom and install steps for 20 k , this will get you going towards your dream boat
