Default Prop selection advice - Formula 242

I'm hoping some of you guys out there with more experience with props can give me a little advice.

I have a 1989 Formula 242ls, I pulled out the tired 454 Mag, 365 horse engine last fall and spent the off season finding and installing a replacement. What I ended up putting in was a $%$ Mag MPI, 385 horse engine from a 1998 Baja. The old engine, when it was still strong would turn a 21" pitch 3 blade Mirage prop at about 4600rpm and do just under 60 on the speedo. My first run out this year with the new motor and old Mirage prop was a little surprising. The 385hp would over rev, so the best I could do was about 50mph, but I had a lot of throttle to go. I tried a Bravo 1 four blade prop from the local prop shop, that was pretty good, it wouldn't pull a very good holeshot, but it would go 65mph on the speedo. The other problem is I could only get about 4400rpm's at that speed. So I figured that was a little too much for it. I then tried a 21 four blade Mercruiser Revolution, the hole shot was great but the top end was very similar to the 3 blade Mirage. I just got off the lake after trying a 23 pitch 4 blade Mercruiser Revolution. This prop performed similar to the Bravo 1, hole shot was a little weak, not as bad, and top end was 60mph on the speedo at 4450rpm's.

So it kinda seems I need something in between the 2 Revoltion props. Is there a way to do any machining on this prop to help both top end and holeshot? Is the a way to change the pitch on a stainless prop? Or, is there a different brand prop that might fit the bill?

I appreciate any and all opinions.

The bravo had you going 65?... the others all were 60 @ best?
If that is correct, get the bravo labbed to pick up some rpms and more speed.
If you prefered the way the revolutions made your boat handle, than get the largest one labbed.
