Default Herrings vs Hydromotives

I have been running 30 pitch p5x Hydromotives and very satisfied till I ran 30 pitch 5 blade Herrings,Herrings got on plane about 2sec.slower but at 4000 rpms they are 6 plus mph faster couldnt get a top end no.yet stay tooned

I'll be interested in what you find out. Right now, running P5Xs and always wondered how Herrings would compare. Just didn't want to pay for them without testing.

What boat are you running? Stock drive height? Power?

did you ever come to a verdict?

can you tell me the difference in handling, and top end speed

Always wanted to test the Herrings, but have never seen on a trial program. That's why I rely on those that have them to give us information. Anyone have any actual data?

We sll and modify and repair both brands.

Literally every application is different and performance data from any "identical" boat can only be used as reference. I have seen Labbed Hydro's faster than Herings and vise versa on so called identical boats. Drive heights, rotation, CG, loads, water conditions, etc. etc. and driver knowledge and goals all play into the end result.
