Griff it bought the boat from a guy right after the rebuild was completed at Smith Power in Kansas. Yes the motor dyno'd at 450hp. Not sure about anything else. I know that he did rockers/lifters,cam and minor headwork. It has a bunch of other stuff done too I'm just not too farmiliar.

Not a bad idea to post in the magic forum being that I assume you have a magic by the name. Every hull does better with a certain prop and I'm sure someone that owns a magic similar to yours will be able to help you out a great deal. Also not a bad idea to post in the prop forum being that you are having prop issues. There is no better place to get help than this sight. Tons of knowledgeable helpful people on here.

I saw a picture of this boat running and he doesn't need bow lift. If anything it has too much bow lift.

Maybe you can give me a call some time when you have a few minutes. We could more than likely cover a bunch of ground quickly. Some of the boat attitude issues are unclear.

Brett, do you have an email adress that I could try? I tried to call you at the office earlier but couldn't get you. I think this would be easier on both of us. Thanks

Sorry you didn't reach me via phone. I have been rather busy in and out of the shop the last few weeks. If you want to try again, tell Kaila you are calling per my request on OSO. Or as you said, email might work better too.

[email protected]

Thanks,
Brett
