Boat is home in Wisconsin now so the project will continue. I will get blocks out to the machine shop and pick up the new heads at Dart in August sometime.
Yeah, the pro-comp heads was unfortunate deal (lots of money tied up there) and a very long story that I will not go into. The ECM is a MEPHI 4b and I run high impedance injectors.

I will most likely be sticking with the 14-71's for now. My main goal is to get the motors together with the new heads, cam, and valve train combination.
As most of you know I had several transmission failures of varying degree. So I have decided to take an out of the box approach to building a more reliable version of the 72c transmission. Not sure what will be the outcome but it will be pretty custom I'm sure!!!

Wisconsin has been great! Really love the homestead, finally getting everything set up the way I want. We finally were able to get the boat running. We got the boat just complete enough to run Boyne thunder (shake down run) and were able to put the boat back on the trailer with running engines, functioning transmissions and good drives. Now there is a ton of little things to fix. We are debating if we should run the Milwaukee fun run coming up,
