Default HP 500 Carb to FI conversion

I'm sure there is a thread someplace else on this forum (and if you know where, feel free to point me in the right direction!), but I'd like to understand what all is involved with converting a HP 500 carbed over to a FI unit. I have a really clean 1999 Fountain 27 with 170 total hours on it. We downsized after we bought a lake house and I really miss the FI 525's we had in our 2006 boat. I'm not worried about picking up a bunch of performance, its just that we don't get out on the boat as often a we like and I miss just hitting the key and having the boat fire right off as well as better manners around the dock when its cold out (we boat Lake Erie). Thanks for any help, Chuck.
