In the pics above, see the orange ball in the sky? Please tell us next time you see it in Ohio.
Florida boating weather has also been hit or miss last couple weeks. Cold fronts blowing in ever few days. But did get another quick blast in last night to park at marina and get an early start on tomorrow.

Was a bit choppy out on Sarasota bay again today, but finally took her back up to last summers Ohio River record of 81mph. It had more RPM left, but leveled out right at 3900R mildly loaded. Enough to get the engine temps up to 210F for first time since the dyno.
According to the math, it's running about 25% prop slip between 60-80mph on these 18x34-4blades. While they seem to perform better by seat of the pants, they actually show about 8-10% more slip than the 18x32's in fresh water.

Great progress Ken, very happy for you. What a project!
did you consider adding cup to those props? Might help lower the slip. What diameter are they? You need like a 18.5” dia!!!!
when does that beast ship to OZ? I wouldn’t mind catching a ride in that thing. Plan to haul it up to Lake Erie for spring testing?
