Apologizes for the lag in updates. Along with keeping this little boat project moving forward, I've been making a few life adjustments over the past couple months. Changes in Lattitudes is the best definition.. The wife and I have decided to give the Salt-Life a try for a bit. We've been jetting between Ohio and Florida so much over the past year, TSA even knows our dog by name...
So we setup camp in a quiet little marina for now, close to all the shops. While searching for some suitable land to build a shop or maybe a barndominium on. But for now, found a sweet spot right on the water to call home over the winter. Spent last couple weeks closing up things in Ohio, then flew out to Idaho to ride up the Snake River in a customers Duramax jet boat. That was super cool. They don't do well with I/O or anything lower unit equipped beyond a trolling motor out there. One minute it's 27ft, next it's 2ft deep running 40mph around a bend between the ripples.

Back in FL this week and VooDoo is floating again. Have a punch of pix, in no particular order. Gotta bolt the pretty parts back on, and then fire em up. Hopefully get her in the water again next week, if the tiebar mounts arrive.

Some more pics to catch up. Driveshaft angles, once fully bolted up fell at 11.5 and 12.3 degrees. No worse than mock up at least.

All hydraulics are filled and working now. Local hydraulic guys made up some trim line extenders that fixed that mounting conflict.

Set the drives spinning in again. At first check with a straight edge the prop shafts are dead even with the bottom, 54" off the transom. Same distance as the W's, but about 2" lower. Just so happens we have 2" spacers to remove, but wanta try it with same 18's as last running to see how it acts with em deep. Also not going to run the lower air tubes until we get that figured out. Once we pick the correct props, then cut the tubes to match..
