Got the boat to the yard this morning. The truck didnt like it and neither did I, but I was not about to use my 4Runner. I think it would have been a little easier if I had the weight of the motors and drives in the rear. Luckily, I live 4 minutes away from the yacht club, so i did not have to go far.

I am thinking of putting some smaller "Dry Martini" decals on the trailer along with some Cigarette logos and lettering...thoughts?

4s and 5s have a much better x dimension. What would your x be with 3s?

Looking good! Keep the pics coming. As far as the trailer.... Id leave the Fountain stickers on. You'll get some awesome reactions from people pulling up with a classic Cig and a Fountain trailer.

I did not know what X dimension was before I looked it up. Since the boat does not have drives on it at the moment, there is no way to take a measurement. Perhaps someone could give some sort of a guess by looking at an older picture?

Starting with the cabin since the weather is finally cooling down...a little. Old floor was rotted bad and i put my foot through it already, so I started ripping it out today. I also noticed the sides below the benches may need to replaced as well. Also, the section below the door. I will be building a step down into the cabin, since it is hard to get in and out.

Not as much at the moment since i am working overtime and weekends, but it is good because it will get me more $$$ for the boat. Slowly in process of taking the rotten wood sections of the cabin apart. The cabin is all I am going to focus on for now, until the spring time when i can get motors and drives.

Down to fiberglass is my goal so i can start measuring and cutting when i get wood. There was a gap in between the wood and fiberglass held together with this glue. Any idea why they built it like that instead of drilling the wood directly into the fiberglass?

The next step is to buy new wood and start measuring. Boat is going to be shrink wrapped soon, but I am going to build a frame over it, so I can get in there and work on it in the winter time. Also, I figured I can get the garage at home to be warm enough for teak refinishing and other things that will need to go into the boat.
