That Outerlimits is huge! There is alot of big powerboats, on lakes in Finland are not... every other boat is put put stuff or small fishing boats. At sea there is many fast big boats. But we have sauna build in boat almoust every displacement hull boat.

Manual says that ASD7M can be installed with notch if it's not too high, sounds good.
ASD 8 lowest possible install is 5.7" above bottom.

I can also angle extension box little downwards, only limiting factor is carbon driveshaft touching bottom off boat

I draw picture with dropbox ASD8 installed and notch filled. It doesn't make any big difference to drive height. With notch prop are 10" further from bottom leading edge what is good thing.
I like boat max speed will happen propshaft parallel to bottom, so there is no sternlift. I can always trim little down if prop slip is too much, but CV get angle then. CV angle can straighten up by adjusting engine height.

Chinese surface drive manufacturer have copied Arneson ASD transom pictures on their site, not very appreciated. HP rating are also small, ASD 8 size drive can hold 250hp....

How 4 engine outerlimits driveline is build? There must be similar split boxes than mine but reversed power flow, two to one, not one to two? Very intresting boat. Gasoline cost now $8.6/gallon in Finland, thanks to communists and green fools. Four 1000hp engine boat isn't for empty pockets guys, especially if you live here.... I hope my Fountain fuel economy would be good. Big diesel, four speed transmission and surface drives should have good efficiency. Boat will run 60-70mph cruising speed at 1400 engine rpm if slip are low.

The bottom of my drive sockets are about 100mm from the bottom of the running surface but I am running a 250mm extension box and BPM extended stern tubes no problem with getting on plane with 17" props as the props are set so far back, the boat runs like a dream and throws a killer rooster tail.
PS it rolls coal also.

Did you build those skegs yourself? I have SCS drop boxes with ASD8 thrust tubes and am looking for the long style.
