Heres what we did for our 26 ls

THIS IS BEFORE THE FRONT AND REAR VENTS WERE INSTALLED AND WE HAVE A MOLD IF YOU NEED ONE

Automotive hinges are a neat idea, can get chrome plated or billet aluminum. Provided you have room for them.

Yes, I am not sure if i have the room to build the structure needed for hood hinges. Was going to go out this weekend and start mapping things out. But need the rain to stop and for me to get off my lazy ass to do it.

Edges all glassed, quick fair and a coat of Duratech high build
I wasn't going for pretty, just functional. This is the way I will bolt it on for this summer, or whats left of it when I finally splash
