Default Dart Pro 1 vs AFR - Preferences?

Grabbing parts for a 540 build. Dart tall deck blocks, SCAT crank, Eagle rods, SRP pistons, Dart single plane intake. 10.03:1 compression. Considering Dart Pro 1 310 cc heads or AFR 300 oval port heads. Experience and advice? and....go!

Make sure to do the dart block lifter oiling mod so last few lifters get decent oil. Some reason doesn’t get talked about much. Do google search and you’ll find it wuickly.

As far as heads, both are decent. If buying assembled get your builder or machinist to check clearances and installed pressures.

I ran AFR 305's on my 540"s EFI...........these were Smith Power builds, probably comes down to preference and cost, as SB states have them checked
