depending on how you will be bracing the inside of your transom you may want to keep the dry inside plates as the wet sump 's are quite a bit bigger. They got in the way of my transom stiffening fiberglass web. I ended up mounting Latham clear reservoirs which are much easier too see oil level and what's going on with it --- bubbles, milky etc... just a thought.
it will be interesting how the boxes will work on a side by side -- i was thinking of doing the same on a 41' Apache side by side with a notch...

Dan I have transom envy . RG
The one question I do have , could you not have gone with plug ins as opposed to drive lines . I do understand that the engine mounting height might change nut I am not sure that the plug in would move the motors that much further forward . But I am not familiar with 6 drive mounting . Cheers RG.

Rick,
I`d have to sell my transmissions, buy plug ins, find plug in transom assemblies.
Plus I want those drives further back so I like the box .
