Default #10 -coming Home to West Michigan

REV-ON -Too, but this time in blue.
Picked this up a couple weeks ago from OSO -Classifieds, seller was a very nice person. Looking forward to - what else - upgrades. Got an appointment with Dr. Doug soon. Hoping he will give us a clean bill of health.

Love that boat, wanted to buy it but no room or time for 2 28 Sabers. Congratulations. Do you have any plans for her?

Yes, stay tuned. I watched with envy as you found your boat and your progress. My first Saber was 1994 24- 454 mag, loved that boat. Had it for 10 years, sold it in 2004, been boatless since then. Got a grin on now.

I've got some spare used parts if you need that I'd practically give away - transom assemblies with new HP gimbal rings, bearings, bellows, etc. Also two sets of 502 stock merc exhaust manifolds with newish risers.

Curious what your plans are?

First thing I would do is change out that Loncoin flooring. That gets blistering hot in the sun. Like walking on red hot coals...
Good looking boat!

Went to Grand Haven for July 04, spent a couples days, did not see another Saber. Actually it seemed a little slow from what I remember of the old days. Is Coast Guard festival usually pretty good still out there?
I remember seeing some pictures of Hanky Panky Cove from the 2003-2005 where it was pretty wild, more than I remember. Also is there any Saber meet up s planned , I think they used to be Muskegon ? Hoping to
get to Torch Lake and maybe inland waterway before fall. The 502 in this boats seems to run very strong even though boat has alot of hours on it ( 1600 ) , does anyone know of it getting rebuilt or swapped out ? The boat did come with a 502 Mag, which it what under the hood, I just cant believe its original equipment and also heard it scanned with like 500 hours on it, again if rebuilt, who did it ? I have some of these questions into Saber, but if you all know anything about motor and outdrive, please let me know. I did get a lot of people on July 4, that liked the boat or knew about it, ! Shout out to original owners son saw at grand isle,, and 2 second owner seen at BLT, where another guy shouted from across the river, I think he owned #1 28, back when it was new, my son and his friend could not believe the support from other boaters and Saber people, makes you proud to be back in the sport.

When I first saw it for sale in 07 or 08 it had a Jasper long block replacement with like 300 hours on it. It was one of the reasons I didn't buy it at the time. Would not suprise me if someone dropped in a factory used takeout or beefed up a takeout motor. They do seem to be pretty light boats tho too.
