Im thoroughly enjoying seeing your project come to life. Its turning into a beautiful boat! Just goes to show the passion we have for these machines. Keep up the good work.

Glad to see everyone's scarab is looking good and coming along. If anyone wants another mine is in the classifieds for a while to see if there any takers.

Could you help me get a windshield like that. I have the exact same boat and want a windshield just like that. I am in the process of doing the same thing to my scarab. Mines an 83 and the only think holding it back is that windshield.

Thanks
Eric

I had a friend of mine design and build it out of aluminum. Its kind of hard to see in the photos but it retained the original shape of the windshield on the bottom, but he was able to curve it around at the top and update it quite a bit. The only down side is the expense- I have about $1700 in just the windshield alone(including paint) If you want his # pm me and I will give it to you.

Thanks again everyone for the support.

I got the starboard engine in this weekend- just have to hook everything up and cross my fingers!!!

Buy 2 ladders, 1 for each side. How much progress has been made.

We want pics. We want pics.

Progress has been really slow! Starboard engine is in- fighting all the minor irritating things that you have on any new engine(leaks, wiring, etc.) I will get pics soon- I just need 25 hours in a day!

I see your boat on Ebay- did you have any luck selling it?

Scott
