Default INSURANCE (FLORIDA) 38 KV Scarab

Can someone lead me in the right direction for some insurance?

My boat is a 1987 so that is a factor as well as I live in Florida but I am in CENTRAL florida one hour from either coast.

I cannot seem to get any calls back or info.

I like to AT LEAST get liability.

Thanks-in-advance!

Hey Randy,

Ask the current owner who he has it insured with, and perhaps you can continue the policy on the boat after you close the deal, since they already know the boat etc...just change names and state of course. Perhaps that could work with the existing company. Just another idea.

Default Insurance

Hey,
My name is Scott and I am the one 30 Outlaw mentioned.

I have a 1988 34' Flat Deck "NINJA" and it is insured thru Nationwide, along with my homeowners.
My rate is pretty low, in the $700/yr neighborhood.

I also heard State farm was a pretty good place to check also.

Goos luck.

Do you trailer the boat or keep it at the coast?

Hey Scott!

I trailer the boat, and will keep it indoors.

the THREE strikes are:

1. Florida
2. Over 30 Feet and 1000 HP
3. Over 20 years old

I may have some news today, hopefully good news. Statefarm said no! Said they have ZERO market.

If he's successful, I'll have some more business for him.

Buzz came in at $3800 a year on a 50K Boat. That seems like a lot for a small amount of $$$ on the boat.

If I don't find REASONABLE rates I probably cannot have boat.
