Sound System in your Scarab pics please
Hi,
I recently purchased an '89 Scarab III and it really needs a sound system upgrade.
I would be extremely grateful if you all who have upgraded your system would post pics and information on the audio equipment you have used to upgrade. I'm not concerned about it being too mild or too wild, I'm keeping my mind open on what I want to do. I'm also interested in what batteries you are using to power it all, too.
I thank you in advance, I'm hoping you all can help me out.
Thanks.

This is the only two pic's I have on my lab top. Six ten in mtx under the back seat and four six by nines in the sides you can see two of them above the bolsters. The other two are in front by your feet in the sides. 160amp alternator out of key west for houseboats along with three battery's. O ya three amps 1000watt clarion amps. I absolutely love it! It took awhile to get it to work with Loto waves all good now. My favorite is jam n to Sammy Hagar Standing Hampton cruising. It's a lot of fun especially cove n out.

Thanks nova26. That's a great start for me. I'll really like what I see there.
I'll be playing:
Guns N' Roses
Slayer
The Offspring
The Hives
Metallica
Hope to see some more examples from fellow owners out there. Thanks!!

Hoping SCARAB3DMC might show his system off. I love that boat and seem to recall reading it had a real nice system.
Looking to see everybody's if you're willing.
Thanks for your time.

mine is in progress right now. Adding 2 10" subs, 2 amps, Siruis interface, 8 speakers and 2 more batteries. Will have an isolation switch so we can drain the extra batteries at the beach, recharge on way home. Also adding a trickle charger for the dock.
Going out today to take photos. Will post them shortly.

Stopped by today. Holes and cut, wires run. Sirius interface installed. Waiting for iPod interface and JL Audio speakers. The amp platform is almost done. Batteries arrived.
Will have 8 speakers, 2 10's and some crazy JL Audio speakers hanging from radar arch. Trickle charger and additional 2 batteries. Batteries will be isolated when at beach to avoidbeing stranded.
