Transom inside is glassed, outside transom is ready for a coat of primer before the wrap. Drives are off (again) and broken down, cleaning them now and prepping for paint! Transmissions will be dropped off in the next two weeks to be rebuilt
Next steps:
Cleanup wires & plumbing in bilge
Pull engine1 apart and freshen
Pull engine 2 apart and freshen
Put drives back together
Re-rig boat
Install digital trim indicator

Ok, so here is an update
Pulled engine 1 apart looking for blown head gasket, no blown head gasket. Really thought I was chasing a cracked cylinder head but it looks like the issue was a failed intake manifold gasket. Heads will be dropped off Friday for a valve job and reassembly. Engine will be flushed and cleaned this weekend.
Drives are at sandblaster - lead time, 3 weeks then off to powder coater
All holes have been drilled and sealed in the transom. 3 coats of Interlux primer applied, Interlux Perfection goes on this weekend!

Been very busy!
Had a setback with the transom. Started to put some of the gloss coat on and was not happy with the surface. I had some low spots that I just didn't see the first time around (first time doing major fiberglass work so learning as I am going). Decided to sand everything off and take a second stab at making the transom flat! Well after hours and hours and hours of sanding, I finally got it to where I was happy. I also got my cylinder heads back and plan to slap the engine back together this weekend. Drives are back from powdercoat and waiting for a few odd bearings before I can put them back together. Transmissions are being rebuilt. I am hoping she is ready for a water test by second week of June!
