NEW Scarab 302 Owner!
Just brought my baby home tonight, have LOTS of cleaning to do, and need to get her tuned up and serviced.
Got some weak points in the floor around access hatches, what do you guys recommend to fix this???

Here is a thread with good info: http://www.thehulltruth.com/boating-...roblems.html#b
I would try injecting a product called Git-Rot into the soft areas first. You got a 50/50 chance of it working.
Now post some pics and give us a speed report. To get best speed out of these, you gotta trim the motors waaaaay up.

Congrats on the boat! The weakness is not good. That means the core in the deck has rotted out.

The original owner put 2-10" access holes too close together and they're right behind the icebox up front...
Theres a weak point now between and around the access holes, I got to find a way to put some support under there.
I weight about 375, so it flexes more with me on it.
Eventhing else seems good!
Having it gone through before I go and do a top speed run.
