Default Planning trip to bimini

Been a while since I posted to this thread. We've been using the boat a lot. On the way home from orange beach right now. We put about a hundred miles on the boat. It has been bulletproof if I'm not doing crazy things to break it. We got 1.3 mpg cruising at 2500-3000rpm. About 195 miles on a tank of gas.

I have reserved a room at.thr bimini sands resort in the Bahamas at the end of august/first week of September. Me my two boys and three friends will be making the trip. We plan to spend a night in Miami before leaving early Friday morning to cross over. Anybody here got any ideas of where we could flush when we get back that Sunday? Recommendations on where to launch?

This might be the last hurrah for this boat before we swap all our hardware over to the 38 over the winter.

Make sure you take cash customs. Unless they have changed in the last couple years all they take is cash. Immigration did not cost if remember correctly. Quarantine flag to be totally correct.

Spot on regarding cash. Make sure you have passports, you will make customs at the airport which you can walk to or take a cab ride to & from. If you walk, you can always stop a the Thirsty Turtle for a Kalik & conch fritters.

So I basically just pull up to the dock with my quarantine flag on a pole, get out of the boat, walk to the airport? Does someone from there walk back to the boat to clear the guys with me or do I bring their passports with me? I've read where only the boat captain is supposed to get out of the boat for this.

We're down here in the Bahamas and I'm trying to post photos with bad wifi. I'll try again when we get to Miami. We had a great time down here.
