Even though the Star boat is technically a 377, there's no signs of it ever being setup for saddled tanks.
If I remember correctly, the tanks were mounted on each side of the cockpit and there would've been additional fuel fills.

I'm waiting on materials. Meanwhile I ran the 30 footer on eBay twice. The bidding didn't get anywhere close to where it needed to be. I think what I'm gonna do is swap all the hardware from the 30 to the 38 that I can, engines, exhaust, cooling, even stereo, etc. then sale what's left of the 30. I hate to do that but I'm trying to figure out the most economical way to go from the 30 to the 38 without loosing my shirt. Looks like swapping hardware will be the cheapest. I'll have to buy a trailer, guages, have upholstery redone, etc but this looks the most feasible.

hblair That's the down side of this insanity we partake in. Work the numbers $$. Most likely your best outcome would be transferring parts over. Would you be using same drives on the 38 or upgrade those?

I've actually got some arneson asd6 drives and borg warner trans for the 38. So the trs will not be used. Although it would be super easy to just take the thing back to trs. Don't tempt me.
