Haven’t had time to work on the boat lately but did some surgery on the winch stand on the trailer today. I lowered the winch and the bumper pad bracket and extended it backwards. I plan to float the boat soon before I finalize the welds and paint this again. This trailer was originally built for an outerlimits 42 footer

Me and Brian finished up some glass work inside the boat Saturday. I had completely forgotten a couple of bulkheads weren’t finished two years ago 😀. Also finished up the front of the engine compartment bulkhead.

Shon’s been working on the wiring. I’ve still got to get some trim switches and have the steering hoses made. I hope to get them done and most of the wiring finished up by the end of the year.

I’ve also got to finish the cockpit floor soon, and hope to have the cockpit upholstery done in the next few months.

We also hope to get the cabin upholstery swapped over from the donor boat soon.

Today the hering props showed up. We ordered them back in April. I guess they’re prettt booked out like everybody else is. They are 18” diameter 29 pitch.

We’ve been pulling out some of the upholstery from the donor boat. Unfortunately there is some rot on a few of the wood pieces that were located under the cabin hatches in the donor boat. That will have to be replaced. Other than that it’s in pretty good shape. I’ve got some carpet ordered to glue in the cabin before the furniture goes in.

Shon got the starboard k plane and arneson drive trim wired in to some new Bennett switches that came in a few days ago. We used a bezel from the donor boat to mount them on. It was nice to see the drive move up and down. 😀

Thanks Mike. Nice looking boat.

We’ve been plugging away.
Some of the wood in the cabin upholstery was rotten and needed to be replaced. I’ve been working on that as well as fitting the settees in the cabin. New carpet is here and I’m working on it too.

Shon worked on the wiring yesterday and now has the k planes and arneson drives hydraulics working…

I presume those center rams are for steering ? hows that push pull going to work with the rams almost straight out, parallel from the mounting points to the tie bar. have you tested it ?
