Thanks guys,
Just got the cockpit floor glassed, hoping to get it ready for gel tomorrow. Vinylester really clogs up the 3M discs. Also transmissions are being shipped to me now from BAM..

so you are simply gonna tap some new tread in the plate thru the fiberglass to bolt in the seat bases?? or screw with self tapping screws?

They will be drilled and tapped to accept stainless machine bolts.
