Haha, I call it faceplant to my family too. I think that boat was Kevin Cundiff's boat.

The boat looked good running through the inlet, especially with that rooster tail

Yea I didn’t see any Roosters and figured figured there must be a few Miami Vice boats in town for the reunion.

How did the reunion go, were even able to show your boat ?

It's amazing how time flies, Heath. Feels like yesterday when I started following Your and Your Family's resto of the 1977 Wellcraft Scarab 300.

Four years later You guys had run it for some time and put up the 2017 video from Your amazing Bimini trip with it. At the same time You

had started the resto of this Scarab 377 a year and a half earlier. Your restorations have turned out exceptional and considering how You

run a very time-consuming family business, the only answer to how You've been able to restore these boats on Your own is exceptional

skills, but foremost unreal persistence, enthusiasm, and true grit. Thank You Heath for letting us follow Your work by way of Your excellent

documentation, and congratulations on having now splashed Scarab number 2 in the salt. Godspeed on Your adventures with this one of

a kind Scarab. Kindest regards, Lars.

The car and boat show fell thru, unable to get permits apparently. I've already gotten my money back though, so it's ok. There was a lot of rain. Didn't even run the boat Sunday, rained almost all day. But our family had a great time when we did run it on Friday and Saturday. The ocean was calm, and also calm at haulover and government cut. We beached the boat at Flagler island and hung out for a few hours. It was neat to pull up to a restaurant on the Miami river, even though me and the boat got soaked (had to set up backup bilge pump during the monsoon that hit while everyone was inside eating lol. If there's a next time we will be going not in the rainy season. We didn't have time to go to the other event on ocean blvd. where they had actors from the show. Would have been cool to meet them but we had a good family vacation.

Thanks a lot Lars. It has been a long time. Would be cool if we could get all the long time followers of this thread to meet sometime for a day of boating. I'd pay for gas. I feel like you guys have earned it for sticking with me for over 8 years lol.
