did the fiberglass peeled right off the inner side of deck? Or you had to cut the fiberglass to pell it like that? Im surprised to see the brownish color of the wood... must be the cleats that were not sealed properly anymore to let the water in there?

You’re supposed to prime it with a catalyzed resin. I’m just using it to stabilize the settee boards here. I ordered way too much of it and am trying to use it lol. I figure the way I’m doing it will be a good bit better, with the plywood screwed and core bonded as compared to just nailed down at the factory.
On the deck, I sawzalled around the edge of the plywood core. There’s a lot of work to be done to the deck. I was just messing around with it for a few minutes.

I got this done today. Was gonna glass the other piece in and realized upon looking at old photos that I have to install a floor joist first. I had completely forgotten about this. The left side has two stringers, right side has two stringers and a joist. (Or a stringer if you want to call it that) This joist sits on top of the edge of the center floor piece, so I have to install the floor first...

Looks great. While you're there. I'd bond in some aluminum backing plates for the cleats. I'm going to do that with mine, I'm hoping that it eliminates the stress cracks that formed there. Plus in my opinion there should be backing plates in all high stress areas, and that can certainly be a high stress area, if tied to a dock in rough water.
