Do you just tab it with 1708? I was going to use 5200 and glass it from the inside, as well as remove the wood insert that Wellcraft installed for the rub rail screws.

Got some more done tonight. Made a brace to hold the top of the hull then cut the front bulkhead out. It’s rotten on the bottom and was poorly installed anyway with the front tabs fiberglassed on top of epoxy paint. We cut out the small triangular floor piece in front of the bulkhead. Miraculously it wasn’t rotten, but the stringer under it was. I think this is as far forward as the rot traveled lol. We also cut out the rotten center stringer between the 1st and 2nd bulkhead which was the toughest thing we’ve done so far. We called it a night after that....

Jeff are you calling my boat a rotbox? I am very offended. 😉 All bulkheads will be replaced and all stringers except the left one under the v berth, and about 20% of the two outer stringers under the cabin setees. Many of the small outer stringer braces are ok.

Prepped the hull for the #1 bulkhead tonight, and worked on getting the center stringer cleaned out. Have a ways to go there. In other news, I started pursuing finding the colors for the Miami vice theme even though we are a ways out. I borrowed an old DuPont chip book to get the original imron colors so I can cross it over to Sherwin Williams chips (which is what we spray) I think I have it all but the white and teal. I have...
44435 black effect
44493 dark violet effect
45024 green effect, and
7446 mariner blue effect
I’m good with coming up with my own white but need the code for the teal.

Looking at pictures on page one, you have come a long way even if you are not up to paint at the moment! Not easy to find the right paint codes, but you seem to be in the good area of colors!
