Ahh there you go. I’m guessing I’m gonna have another faceplate machined minus the sync gauge and the depth finder, also, prolly will be losing the clock in the small gauge assortment and possibly the boost gauges if my 256 chargers won’t fit under the hatches.

The surface here is not flat like it may look like in the photos. There's only a few places on the boat that are, like the cockpit opening. This area has a downward crown (upward when installed on the boat) of more than an inch.

btw thanks for the nice words, my pleasure to offer anything i can

rudder indicators are nice, seen an old one where a cable came out of the gunnel and was fixed to the dash under the steering wheel
the plate was engraved something like P----(-----()-----)----S,

I've got two full sets of gauges, if you are going to stick with the stock set up let me know, I'll send you mine. Between the two sets, you will have one very nice set, and both Depth gauges are in good shape. I'm also going to be replacing the entire rocker set up. I'm having all new custom panels made. At the Chicago boat show, an OEM manufacture was there. He will do custom one off stuff including back lighted panels.. I think it was around $700 for all new dash panels.

I didn't read your first post. I thought you were looking to replace the stock stuff. I agree with you, I would go with Autometer or Livorsi. I've had really bad luck with needle color fade on Livorsi, but no one can compete with them in customizing the actual gauge. Ha, why can't choices be easy.

Thanks Dan, I plan on doing the engine compartment and cockpit stringers and floor after the deck is back on.
We’re going with auto meter marine gauges with the carbon fiber face. Of course they
don’t offer the engine speed calibrator, depth gauge, clock, or even hour meters in that style so I don’t know. Looks like I’ll be having the bezels remade to accommodate fewer gauges, and get some hour meters in the closest style I can find to the auto meter.

By the way, name your price on that companionway plexiglass door. Mine is gone and has a piece of aluminum in its place and yours looks mighty nice.

HA- I'm not selling that. I do have one that is broken, but its all there. It might be possible to use it as a template to have a new one made. I'd love to have a new one that said KAAMA vs KV.

Oh yeah, forgot, Dan I haven’t done the bow rail area yet, just cut one part out to see what was going one, I think it’s going to be easier than I previously thought.
