It had electric solenoid operated valves, I haven’t given the switching much thought yet.

I'd link the two saddle tanks into a 12v pump and into a mixer tap in the cockpit then fill one with whiskey and the other with Coke.

LoL rak rua, Dan.
I haven’t even considered the pros or cons. will prolly keep the 3 guages. Would be nice to glance down and see the amount of fuel I have In each tank at any time and not have to toggle. I was told there are god quality electrically switched valves nowadays that would work fine. I have not done any research on that yet.

Had the same setup on my Scarab and with my turbos I ran high octane on outside tanks so switched to those when I felt the need for speed but for long trips like I took around Michigan it was nice to have those aux tanks to extend the range. I'd keep them especially if Bahama is in the boats future.

That’s my thinking Andy, thanks tinobest. What was it weeks ago when I said I had all known cracks repaired? Well I’ve been repairing all the unknown ones lately LOL. I thought I was gonna spray some evercoat slick sand today, and found about 8 more places that needed filler, and two that need fiberglass repair. It will be getting sprayed monday.
In other news, I changed my mind in the rubrail again and ordered new stuff. Also removed the deck hatches and as I thought 1/3 of the nuts were seized requiring surgery. I’m either going to have the hatches replated or painted not sure yet.

Decks all one color now. 3 gallons of evercoat slick sand. Basically a sprayable polyester putty. Recoated the transom too...
