Yea probably better off going that route and making things perfect if going through all the work on the rest of the boat 👍🏻

Billy got the manifolds, motor mounts, and bellhousings painted. Getting the k planes ready. Winston and Michael sprayed out some cards on some of the colors. We crossed the original DuPont codes over to Sherwin Williams which is the system we use...

There have been a lot of build threads over the years on OSO and this one for me is my favorite only behind the Still Crazy Velocity build.

Are you using the pedestal mount motor mounts? Your boat should have had the motor plates.

I second that you need to mount the motors with solid motor plates. If you need some I have plenty of them. call Heath Regards Dan

Ok guys, offshore mounts it is. I’ll have to do some fabricating to clear the pans. That’ll give me something to do. Picked up my trailer from sandblasting yesterday, wheel flies off, takes left fender with it. That’ll also give me something to do lol.

I recently did all the same work to my myco. Fenders were cheap, shipping was insane! A friend had myco cut his fenders in half and shipping was reasonable, then his body guy welded them back together and onto the trailer.
also I made a jig to hold the uprights at 65* from level that put the top plates at 24* and I just slid them up and down to set the height.
made it much easier
