thk jb also should add that boat had 1/4 tank gas me and the skipper (wife) with about 1' of chop. these are great boats without question. have really banged it around in the rough stuff with no problems.

What year is your 29 and by chance who was the previous owner??

I'll be back thanksgiving for 4 or 5 days!
I called my mechanic and he going to hopefully have it prepped and ready when I get in town!!
You going to be able to keep up with the Whipplecharger?
As long as its not raining I'll be on the lake reguardless of the temp!!!!

Just as a comparison, I had a 28 Excel model with 454Magnum, Bravo 1 Drive and standard 23p 3-blade prop. Max speed was 64 on GPS with that configuration on a good day (fumes in gas tank, little chop, with the tide and wind ), and I think it was a 7 1/2" beam, little rocket. 62MPH on GPS was about standard though for me.
